This Privacy Policy explains how Syed Minhal Ali Zaidi, a sole proprietor based in Pakistan, operating RaveClip ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use raveclip.app. By using RaveClip you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account details: your name and email address when you register or sign in.
- Your content: the videos you upload or the video links you paste, and any edits or settings you apply.
- Communications: messages you send us for support.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: jobs you run, features you use, and basic processing metrics, used to operate the service and enforce plan limits.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, and timestamps, used for security and troubleshooting.
Payment information
Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, which acts as Merchant of Record. We receive limited transaction details (such as plan, status, and country) but do not collect or store your full payment-card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- to provide, operate, and improve the service and produce your clips;
- to manage your account, subscription, and plan limits;
- to provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- to secure the service and detect or prevent abuse and fraud;
- to comply with legal obligations.
3. How Your Video Content Is Processed
To generate clips, the videos and audio you submit are processed by automated systems and are transmitted to trusted third-party providers for transcription and AI analysis (see below). We use Your Content only to provide the service to you. We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it to train our own models. Uploaded source files and generated outputs are retained only as long as needed to provide the service and may be deleted automatically after processing or on your request.
4. Third-Party Providers
We share the minimum data necessary with providers who help us run RaveClip:
- Our payment provider: payment processing and billing (Merchant of Record).
- AI & transcription providers (such as Google, Groq, and similar): to transcribe audio and analyse content to generate clips.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers: to run and store the service.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate the service. We do not use them to sell your data. You can control cookies through your browser, though disabling essential cookies may break sign-in.
6. Data Retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. Uploaded source media and generated clips are retained only as long as needed to provide the service and may be purged automatically. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@raveclip.app and we will respond within a reasonable time.
9. International Transfers
We operate from Pakistan and use providers that may process data in other countries. Where required, we take steps to ensure your data is handled in line with this policy.
10. Children
RaveClip is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
